Calicut-Malapuram-Angadipuram railway line is a long pending demand and Rs.2 Crore was alloted for the survey in 2008 Budjet.
The survey is already successfully expedited for
West Hill-Kakkodi-Malapuram-Angadipuram line. Railway authorities explained that the line is feasible. Now the traffic survey is to be completed. The people of Malabar is expecting a serious fund allotment in 2010 Railway Budjet, as the Union Railway Minister for States is from Malapuram.
